Halal Cat Food To Be Released Throughout The UK Next Month
Though it isn’t a religious requirement to feed animals halal food, some “conservative” Muslims prefer to purchase halal food even for their pets.
The first halal cat food is set to go on sale in the UK by a Manchester-based company, Tiana, who claims there are more than 500,000 Muslim cat owners, many of whom are interested in feeding their cats halal food.
Packs of chicken, fish and goat are already being sold on a trial basis.
